How to Submit Music to Triple A (AAA) Radio

Triple A, or Adult Album Alternative, radio plays singer-songwriter, Americana, indie rock and roots music for an adult audience. Many AAA stations are noncommercial and open to independent artists.

    Does your song fit AAA?

Triple A favors strong songwriting, organic instruments and artist-driven music. Listen to a few AAA stations before you pitch and be honest about the fit.

Noncommercial AAA is your entry point

Many public and listener-supported stations program AAA. They often have local music shows that feature independent artists from their region.

    Send a focused pitch

Include one song, a streaming link, a short bio and any press or radio credits. Note if you are touring in the station's area.

    Show consistency

AAA programmers notice artists who keep releasing quality music. Regular radio play elsewhere, such as weekly plays on Independent Radio FM, helps show momentum.
