04 / Artist voices
"I sent my track on a Monday and heard it on the radio that Saturday. No waiting around to see if somebody picks it. That part alone is worth it."
"This investment is turning out to be one of the best investments I've ever made. Thank you for supporting my music. We appreciate everything that you guys are doing, real talk."
"Thank you so much for the beautiful press release: I shared it on X and Facebook!"
"The opportunities just keep growing. Thanks fam for all you do."
Zag Jay: "Night Shift"
Zag Jay, this one moves. The beat has a steady bounce that keeps your head going, and your voice sits right on top of it without fighting the track.
The hook is the strongest part. It is short, easy to remember, and you come back to it fast enough that people will catch it the first time through.
If you want to take the next one higher, give the last verse a little more space before the hook lands again. That small pause makes a big hook feel even bigger.
Good record, Zag Jay. This one plays well on air.
