A Powerful Collaboration on I Won't Cry

The newest spotlight falls on I Won't Cry, an upcoming single set for release in 2026. For this track, Mot & Krid teamed up with indie artist Stephen Thomas Sims. Sims co-wrote the song and delivers the lead vocals. Mot & Krid considers Sims a favorite collaborator as of late, and he is a talented indie artist in his own right.

The song carries a clear message about personal power. It focuses on the inner strength that lives inside everyone if they can tap into it. The artist leaves room for listeners to find their own meaning and make the song their own.

“I Won't Cry is about that inner strength that all of us have if we can manage to tap into it.”

From Classic Vinyl to Real Instinct

The musical journey started early for Mot & Krid. It all began at home with classic family records and a simple dream shared between high school friends.

“Listening to my parent's Beatles records. That and my best friend in high school, who played guitar and said, let's start a band.”

From those early days, the creative process grew into something deeply personal. Inspiration comes from life and everything around the artist. Some days start by sitting down at the piano and letting the mood take control. Whether the feeling is happy, sad, melancholic, or energetic, the music comes straight from the heart by following pure instinct.
